Might have something to do with the way the needle length is adjusted; it’s a smooth turn which may be affected by movement of the hand when machine is resting on it. Does this machine have a clicking solid needle depth turn adjustment or is it a smooth turning adjustment like the Bishop>?

One thing i never understood is why do you have to autoclave the grips IF the inside of the machine will come in contact with the cartridges that you will have to handle by hand. So usually a q tip works for cleaning the nub on the inside of pens/rotaries. Of course with the correct clean procedure. It won't make a diffrence if you also clean the grips. They are made to be nonporus, sleek and of full coverage. You should clean it- you can use an ultrasound to be safe and a clean procedure with your aøcohol wash etc.

My power supply is at 0:00 And my coil still sounds like it's at 8:00 Any time I change the voltage it's still sounds the same....pls help😢

It really is a weak machine and with the new Cheyenne Engen battery, the quality is very low. (slow to start, wiggly and damaged by wet wipes).. Just a warning to save your money!

Didn’t help much at all, great for the neo trad guy who doesn’t do any detail but line work isn’t just that, which ones good for pulling fine lines?

Does anyone know what the starting voltage for lining is on this machine at 4.5? Even Bishop tells us the starting voltage for their wand is 7.5, but this seems to be a secret on Cheyenne machines and I’m not sure why?. We always give our apprenticeship the set voltage for their machines so that the don’t struggle going out the gate. It’s what sets our shop apart from those around us. We teach them everything we know, but there will always be situations where they will struggle. As for Cheyenne, I have owned 4 machines from them through the years, but My Go to is the Wand. I just bought the SN 2nd Gen at 4.5, and my old SN is wonderful for coloring at 9volts, no complaints there. But when I tried to line at 9 volts with the new one, the client screamed, so this tells me perhaps the lining starts at 8 volts, maybe? I never had that happen before, and I switched back to my wand. I bought the 4.5 for thick lines since I want to do more Neo-traditional tattoos. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏼
